From September 22 to 26, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies participated in the 26th Conference of the Association of Ibero-American Defense Colleges hosted by the Institute of Advanced Strategic Studies in Asunción, Paraguay.

On September 22, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies joined the US Embassy in Asunción, Paraguay to recognize graduates of the virtual Cyber Fundamentals course, highlighting the Perry Center's commitment to fostering cybersecurity leadership in the Americas.

From September 15 to 26, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies hosted 117 participants from 23 countries for two concurrent in-residence courses: Cyber Policy Development and Artificial Intelligence Applications for Defense (CYBER-AI) and Combating Transnational Organized Crime: Borderlands (CTOC-B).

On September 22, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies launched the in-residence phase of its Combating Transnational Organized Crime: Borderlands (CTOC-B) course, directed by Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo.

On September 11, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, in partnership with the Inter-American Defense College [IADC], launched the International Relations and the Inter-American System [IRIS] course as part of the Master of Science [MS] and Diploma in Inter-American Defense and Security offered by the IADC.

From August 19–21, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies participated in the 2025 South America Defense Conference (SOUTHDEC) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

From August 18 to 22, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies partnered with the Uruguayan Naval War College to co-host a mobile course on Maritime Security Policy (MSP) in Montevideo, Uruguay.
