On July 2, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies had the honor of hosting Argentina's Minister of Defense Luis Alfonso Petri, accompanied by Secretary of International Affairs Juan Battaleme and other senior officials.

On June 16, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies formally conferred the Perry Award for Excellence in Security and Defense Education upon the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas – ESPE, in recognition of its sustained contributions to the advancement of professional military education and regional security cooperation in the Americas.

From June 2-13, 2025, the William J. Perry Center Hemispheric Defense Studies convened 102 participants from 15 countries for the resident phase of two concurrent courses: Countering Hybrid Threats in the Americas (CHTA) and Human Rights and Rule of Law (HR/ROL).

On June 2, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies launched the in-residence phase of its Countering Hybrid Threats in the Americas (CHTA) and Strategic Implications of Human Rights and Rule of Law (HR/ROL) courses, welcoming over 100 participants from 15 countries in the Western Hemisphere.

On May 29, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies welcomed twelve members of the Senior Military Course No. 20 from the Ecuadorian Army’s Education and Military Doctrine Command. The delegation was received by Perry Center Director Dr. Paul J. Angelo and Professor Celina Realuyo.

On May 20, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies welcomed a delegation of 78 students from Mexico's National Defense College (CODENAL). The group was received by Perry Center Director Dr. Paul J. Angelo, Professor Dr. David Spencer, and Professor Celina Realuyo.

On May 6, 2025, Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo participated in the Third Annual Meeting of National Points of Contact on Transnational Organized Crime (RANDOT), held at the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, DC.

From May 5-16, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies convened 105 participants from 25 countries for the resident phase of two concurrent courses: Caribbean Security & Defense (CSD) and Governance and Strategy for Security & Defense (GSSD).

On May 13, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies welcomed two delegations from the Command of Higher Education of the Guatemalan Army (COSEDE) and Mexico’s Center for Advanced Naval Studies (CESNAV).
