THIS IS A FULLY VIRTUAL COURSE - PARTICIPATION BY INVITATION ONLY

Defense Education Pedagogy (DEP) is a 40-hour virtual course delivered in English over a period of four weeks dedicated to stimulating critical thinking and to deepen the understanding of the peculiarities and challenges of defense education. The starting point of the course is the consideration that defense education is atypical among other types of education and thus complex by nature. Defense Education interacts in a multi-directional manner with doctrines and historical foundations connected to national political cultures and institutions. DEP is a course that focuses primarily on the "how" of teaching members of the military and national security enterprise as well as how new generations learn in the context of a changing strategic landscape and rapid advances in technology.
