On November 27, the Perry Center welcomed Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) Director James Hursch for a site visit and working meeting. DSCA serves as the executive agent for the United States Department of Defense Regional Centers for Strategic Studies. Director Hursch and his team, including Senior Enlisted Advisor Command Sergeant Mikael “Mack” Sundin and Defense Security Cooperation University President Dr. Celeste Gventer, reviewed 2023 accomplishments and previewed the 2024 program plan. Discussion topics also included climate, cyber, and space security initiatives, institutional relationships, development of non-commissioned officers, and the role of women in peace and security.
