On 14 August 2024 Perry Center’s Dean of Academic Affairs William Godnick made a virtual presentation on military interventions in Latin America’s prisons to 780 participants in the Joint Defense Military Academy of Ecuador’s academic panel on Strategic Thought in Regional Security. Dr. Godnick shared the results of his research published in the Perry Center Occasional Paper “Soldiers and Prisons: Reflections on Military Interventions in the Latin American and Caribbean Prison System”
