On October 4, the Perry Center welcomed Brazilian Major General Ulisses de Mesquita Gomes, Colonel Emerson Colpo Gaier da Rosa, and 50 colonels from the Army War College of Brazil. During the morning visit, Perry Center Director Dr. Paul Angelo and Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Scott Tollefson engaged with the group, recognizing our strong institutional relationship. Dr. Luis Bitencourt provided a special lecture on “Global Competition Challenges and U.S.-Brazil Defense Cooperation.
