On May 12, Professor Dr. Boris Saavedra and Adjunct Professor, Major (ret.) George Benson jointly presented a webinar looking at the regional and global impacts of COVID-19 on Cybersecurity. The event explored how the pandemic has intensified our digital life, in both positive and negative ways. The presenters described how cybercriminals are taking advantage of the global shift to cyberspace and emphasized the need for governments, organizations and individuals to continue to educate, manage and implement new privacy and security measures.
