Today, a 44-person delegation from the Inter-American Air Forces Academy (IAAFA) attended an organizational briefing and academic exchange at the Perry Center. The delegation included students of the International Professional Military Education Development courses and was led by IAAFA Commandant, Col. Marc F. Stratton. The delegation included students from Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, and the United States. While at the Center, the visitors attended a presentation by Professor Boris Saavedra on generating military capacities for the use of the region’s air forces. The event at the Perry Center concluded a three-day trip to Washington, DC, during which the delegation also visited the Pentagon and the Inter-American Defense College (IADC).
