On November 20, we had the honor of hosting Argentina’s Secretary for the Fight against Drug Trafficking and Complex Crimes, Martin Verrier, for this first visit to the Center. Secretary Verrier is a graduate of the George C. Marshall Center, one of our sister regional centers for security studies. Secretary Verrier was welcomed by Perry Center Deputy Director Rubén López, Associate Director of Outreach and Communications Holly Peirce, Dean of Academic Affairs William Godnick, and Professor Celina Realuyo. During the visit, discussions focused on enhancing collective awareness of Southern Cone security challenges and exploring future collaboration with Argentina’s Ministry of Security and the Perry Center’s alumni network.
