On December 3-4, 2020, Perry Center Director LTG (ret.) Rudesheim and Professor Celina Realuyo participated at Centro de Altos Estudios Nacionales Escuela de Posgrado (CAEN)’s Third Annual Conference on Security and Defense – CASEDE 2020, “Implications of the Pandemic and Threats to Security and Defense in Ibero-America” before a virtual audience of over 400 Peruvian and international government, military, police and academic officials. General Rudesheim spoke on “How the Armed Forces Respond to the Threats of the 21st Century” and Professor Realuyo addressed “Fighting Transnational Organized Crime in The Americas during COVID-19.”
