On June 23, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies hosted a delegation of 21 students from the Dominican Republic’s Naval Command and Staff College. The group was welcomed by Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. William Godnick and Professor Jeffrey Zinsmeister. Dr. Godnick offered an overview of the Center’s mission and academic programs, and Professor Zinsmeister facilitated a discussion on organized crime and grey zones in the Americas, with a focus on fostering regional collaboration, enhancing strategic understanding, and building shared capacity to address these complex security challenges.
