The current class of the National Academy of Political and Strategic Studies (Academia Nacional de Estudios Políticos y Estratégicos – ANEPE) visited NDU and the Perry Center today for organizational briefings and an academic exchange. The 18-person delegation, led by Brigadier General Eduardo Mann Pelz, met with NDU President MG Gregg Martin and heard briefings by Mr. Jay Cope and Dr. James Przystup of NDU’s Institute for National Strategic Studies. Next they moved to the Perry Center for briefings by Gen. (ret.) Carlos Ospina and Dr. Isidro Sepúlveda and remarks by Perry Center Acting Director Ken LaPlante. ANEPE and the Perry Center enjoy a longstanding institutional relationship and often take part in joint academic programming, in-person and via videoconferencing technology.
