On September 26, the Perry Center hosted a delegation of 62 students from the Colombian National War College (Escuela Superior de Guerra – ESDEG), led by Brigadier General Edgar Alexander Salamanca Rodriguez. The students from the Advanced Military Studies Course (Curso de Altos Estudios Militares – CAEM) and the Integrated National Defense Course (Curso Integral de Defensa Nacional – CIDENAL) were welcomed by Perry Center Director Dr. Paul Angelo, Deputy Director Mr. Ruben Lopez, Academic Dean Dr. Scott Tollefson, Associate Dean Dr. Patrick Paterson, and Professor Dr. Boris Saavedra. Dr. Paterson conducted organizational and climate change briefings, and Dr. Saavedra briefed the group on cybersecurity. The Perry Center has an academic partnership with the Colombian National War College.
