On Wednesday, October 13, the Perry Center welcomed GEN Ricardo Martínez, Commander in Chief of the Chilean Army for an office call and discussion. Accompanied by Major General Pedro Varela, Defense and Army Attaché of Chile in the US; Colonel Jaime Izarnotegui, Assistant Military Attaché; and Colonel Andrew Leonard, Army Attaché, US Embassy in Chile; LTG (ret.) Frederick S. Rudesheim hosted General Martinez for an office call. Following the office call, the Chilean delegation met with Perry Center faculty, including Dr. Scott Tollefson, Dean of Academic Affairs and Professors Dr. William Godnick, Dr. Patrick Paterson, Dr. Boris Saavedra, Dr. Fabiana Perera, and Ms. Celina Realuyo to discuss security cooperation.
