On Monday, February 11, CHDS started a special Defense Policies course for students at the Inter-American Defense College (IADC). The course will last three weeks, from February 11 to March 1, and will explore themes of international relations, strategy, instruments, and conceptual methodologies, and the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of defense policy. The course will conclude with a group exercise that will put into practice the skills and knowledge gained in those three weeks. CHDS and IADC have collaborated on courses for several years; the topic for the past three years has been defense policies.
