Congratulations to our graduates of Strategic Implications of Human Rights and Rule of Law! On Friday, we held the first in-person graduation ceremony of our 25th Anniversary year. We thank National Defense University President Lt Gen Michael Plehn and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Western Hemisphere Affairs Daniel Erikson for their remarks marking the occasion. During their time in residence, students engaged with many distinguished presenters, including the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, Virginia Gamba de Potgieter. Now more than ever we must work together as a hemispheric community on rule of law and human rights issues, and these graduates will move us forward.
