On Thursday, November 18, the Perry Center was honored to host Brazilian Army General Eduardo Antonio Fernandes, Chief of Strategic Affairs within the Ministry of Defense, to discuss opportunities for educational collaboration and the Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas (CDMA), which Brazil will host in July 2022. He was accompanied by Brazilian Vice-Admiral Alexandre Rabello de Faria, Chairman of the Council of Delegates, Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), and Air Force Major General Ramiro Kirsch Pinheiro, Brazil’s Defense and Air Attaché in Washington, DC.
