On June 18, Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo spoke on “Threats from Hezbollah and Iran in the Americas” at a webinar on the impact of COVID-19 on terrorist groups around the world. She was joined by Perry Center alumnus, Brazilian Federal Police Agent Christian Azevedo who addressed ISIS, as well as Universidad de las Americas Puebla (UDLAP) professor, Dr. Mohamed Badine Yattioui who discussed terrorist threats in North Africa. This webinar, with more than 200 participants, previewed the August release of the forthcoming book Terrorism: History and Global Trends, published by UDLAP where the panelists have contributed chapters on the history of counterterrorism of their respective countries – Brazil, Morocco and the United States.
