On September 8, 2021 Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo participated in the International Academic Conference: Global Trends of Terrorism within the Framework of the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 sponsored by the University of the Americas – Puebla (UDLAP) in Mexico with more than 200 participants online. On the panel titled “the United States and the World 20 years after 9/11: Challenges and the Pending Agenda,” she spoke about the evolution of US counterterrorism policy since September 11, 2001, lessons learned from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the current threats from terrorism.
