On Thursday, March 8, 2012, the CHDS Alumni Association in El Salvador held an academic lecture as part of its regular videoconferencing series with the Center.  Professor Celina Realuyo presented via videoconference to an audience of over 55 people comprised of students attending the Armed Forces Staff and Command College of El Salvador, alumni and professors from the Colegio Superior de Estudios Estratégicos (Strategic Superior Studies College – CAEE), officials from the National Civil Police and CHDS alumni. The title of the presentation was “Challenges in confronting transnational criminal organizations in the Americas.”
