On November 13, 2021, Perry Center Professor William Godnick participated on a virtual panel on governance and organized crime organized by the International Studies Association of the National University of San Marcos of Peru. Dr. Godnick spoke about public policies and international cooperation to combat illicit arms trafficking and to reduce armed violence, including international agreements at the level of the United Nations and Organization of American States, as well as anti-trafficking tools made available by the US Department of State and the Bureau for Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
