About this event:

This is a forum on security in Latin America, co-hosted by Johns Hopkins SAIS and the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, in Washington, DC. This year’s forum will focus on contemporary and evolving threats in defense and security in the Americas, with special attention to civil-military relations, the militarization of internal security, climate change, and cybersecurity.

Presentations will be in English. Livestream options will include translation into Spanish.

Doors open at 8:15 a.m. Seating is first-come, first-served. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
