Deans Bitencourt and Thompson look on as Admiral Sievers signs

On October 29, the Director of the Chilean Ministry of National Defense’s Academy for Political and Strategic Studies (ANEPE) visited the Perry Center to sign an Agreement of Academic Cooperation. Rear Admiral Harald Sievers has been ANEPE’s Director since 2011, and this Agreement of Academic Cooperation will institutionalize an already flourishing relationship between the two institutions. During his visit, Admiral Sievers met with the Chilean students currently enrolled in the Perry Center’s specialized courses. Former Perry Center Director Jay Cope was also in attendance for the signing and strategic discussion.
