The Perry Center has just launched Volume 1 of the new Perspectivas eJournal, a collection of current research and analysis. Perspectivas is a digital publication that contains an array of articles, commentaries, and policy statements in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The eJournal thrives on the diversity of “perspectives” that make up the defense and security community of interest. Valuable insights from Perry Center alumni, high-level government leaders, members of academia, and journalists serve as the foundation of each issue.

Volume 1 contains five thought-provoking articles from a diverse group of authors. The subjects include security concerns regarding landless groups in Brazil, an assessment of the elements of hemispheric security, an analysis on the US Department of State’s intelligence and research branch, the intelligence structure of the Mexican police, and lessons on crisis leadership from a senior Argentine military officer.
