On November 7, the Perry Center welcomed 50 students from Peru’s Centro de Altos Estudios Nacionales (CAEN), a valued regional partner institute. The delegation led by the Vice Admiral AP Atilio Aste Evans, was received by Perry Center Dean of Academic Affairs Scott Tollefson and Professors David Spencer and Arturo Sotomayor. Dr. Tollefson offered welcome remarks, describing the Center’s mission and 2024 course program. Dr. Sotomayor provided an analysis of hemispheric civil-military relations, and Dr. Spenser facilitated a discussion on current world events.
