Perry Center Chief of Staff Jeff Murphy presided over an internal ceremony and reception honoring the service of departing staff member Yesenia Godoy.

Ms. Godoy, who has accepted a new position at the Department of Energy, leaves the Center after serving as Assistant Alumni Coordinator for the last year and a half. During her time at the Center, Yesenia was the face of alumni engagement for the Perry Center’s alumni organizations in the region. She helped manage the day-to-day operations of the alumni office and engaged directly with the alumni community on multiple levels. Her superior leadership and communication skills strengthened the Center’s alumni organizations and contributed immensely to its academic and outreach missions.

Ms. Godoy received a certificate honoring her status as Distinguished Members Emeritus, and will remain an important part of the Perry Center family. We are sad to see her leave, but we wish her all the best in her new adventure!
