On November 5, a delegation from the Foundation for Political, Economic, and Social Studies for the New Argentina (Fundación para Estudios Políticos, Económicos y Sociales para la Nueva Argentina – FEPESNA) visited the Perry Center for an organizational briefing and academic exchange. The delegation arrived in Washington, DC from Buenos Aires, Argentina, several days ago with the primary goal of observing the US midterm elections that took place on Tuesday, November 4. The 12-person delegation was headed by FEPESNA Director Laura Isabel Velásquez and included two Perry Center program alumni: defense analyst Fabián Calle and Argentine federal judge Claudio Bonadio. The visit, coordinated by College of International Security Affairs Associate Dean Craig Deare and Perry Center Academic Dean Luis Bitencourt, included a tour of the NDU International Fellows Hall of Fame, library, and special collections, and a discussion with NDU and Perry Center representatives.
