The workshop, held at the Hotel Minister Suite, included a presentation by Dr. Evan Ellis on “Trade between Honduras and China, The Presence of China in Latin America, and Relations with Taiwan.” The workshop was also broadcast virtually to the Salvadoran Alumni Association, whose Executive Committee shared their experiences as an association, plus their agenda of future activities, with the Honduran association.

Honduran Conference ParticipantsApproximately 30 people were in attendance, which included not only former CHDS resident course graduates, but also participants from the Command and General Staff School (Escuela de Comando y Estado Mayor – ECEM) that had recently finished the four-day long NationLab program, which was facilitated by Dr. Evan Ellis and Professor Pat Paterson. Workshop participants also had the distinct privilege of having in attendance General Mario Hung Pacheco, former Commander of the Honduran Armed Forces, who congratulated the association on its foundation.
