The Inter-American Air Force Academy visited the Perry Center as part of their course trip to Washington, DC. The group was comprised of thirty commissioned and non-commissioned officers. Additionally, eight officers and NCOs from the school’s faculty and staff were in attendance. They were received by the Perry Center’s Deputy Director Luis Bitencourt, and Dr. Boris Saavedra, Assistant Professor of National Security Affairs. During this visit, the Perry Center’s mission was discussed, along with the topic of current bilateral relations between Cuba and the United States. Concluding this visit was an exchange of gifts between the two institutions.
