On May 5, 2022, the Perry Center co-sponsored with State Alumni Paraguay (SAP) an “International Forum on Cooperation between Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and the United States of America in the Fight Against Organized Crime, Money Laundering and Cryptocurrencies,” with over 300 participants from the Paraguayan public, private and civic sectors at the Universidad Nacional de Ciudad del Este. Perry Center Professors Boris Saavedra and Celina Realuyo spoke about on the digitization of illicit networks and money laundering via cryptocurrency and cyber governance and cybercrime in the Americas.
