On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies engaged with 16 Mexican officers from the Center for Higher Naval Studies (CESNAV) of Mexico at the facilities of the Inter-American Defense College. The officers are currently enrolled in a master’s degree program at CESNAV.

During the engagement, Dr. Godnick delivered an organizational brief highlighting the Perry Center’s mission, academic programs, and regional engagement efforts. Professor of Practice Jeffrey Zinsmeister followed with a presentation on international relations and cyber norms, fostering discussion on contemporary security challenges and the evolving cyber domain within the hemisphere.
