From September 26 – 28, the Perry Center and the Peruvian Ministry of Defense is convening 60 defense and security professionals from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and the United States for a South American Regional Seminar on Countering Transregional-Transnational Threat Networks in Lima, Peru. Through a series of expert lectures and interactive sessions, seminar participants will examine threats posed by international terrorism, transnational organized crime, external actors, cybersecurity and emerging technologies and discuss strategies and policies to counter these threats in the Americas.
