On November 8, the Perry Center welcomed a group of 32 students from Peru’s Programa de Alto Mando del Ejército (PAME). Perry Center Director Paul Angelo and Professors Arturo Sotomayor and David Spencer received and hosted the group led by the Director of the Escuela de Guerra Brigadier General Jorge Arevalo. Dr. Angelo extended a warm welcome, described the Center’s mission, and previewed the 2024 course program. Dr. Sotomayor delivered a lecture on hemispheric civil-military relations, and Dr. Spencer facilitated a discussion on current world events.
