On December 6, 2022 Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo spoke on the role of China and Mexican cartels in deadly fentanyl trafficking and money laundering on the Illicit Financing panel at the 23rd Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum (PISF) at the US Senate. PISF convened over 200 parliamentarians from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America as well as US lawmakers for this two-day forum in Washington, DC. This forum covered topics such as illicit financing, energy and supply chain security, cyber and space domains, adversarial foreign investments, emerging technologies (5G and artificial intelligence) and international security cooperation.
