Welcoming a group of students from the Air War College on July 3, Dr. Fabiana Perera, Assistant Professor at the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, delivered a lecture to the group on Security Challenges Facing the Western Hemisphere. Professors from the Africa Center for Strategic Studies and the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies presented lectures on ongoing security issues in their respective regions. The group of students from over two dozen countries will spend the next year in residence at the Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.
