On January 22, 2021, Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo spoke on the future of US-Mexican security cooperation under the Biden Administration at University of California-San Diego Center for US-Mexican Relations’ virtual seminar on “Can the AMLO and Biden Administrations Advance the Bilateral Agenda? Between American Inertia and Mexican Resistance.” The seminar discussed how the Biden and AMLO teams will handle the COVID-19 pandemic, security, migration and trade relations with Theresa Brown from the Bipartisan Policy Center, Ana Paula Ordonica of Televisa and Dr. Gustavo Olaiz from UNAM as the other panelists.
