From 12 – 16 June 2023 Professor of Practice William Godnick joined the US Southern Command’s Human Rights Initiative in support of its engagement with the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Peru. More than 30 officers from the three branches of the armed forces and the national police participated. Current participants in the Human Rights Initiative include Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
