Perry Center Professor of Practice Celina Realuyo spoke at the Colombian National War College’s Regional Center for Strategic Studies in Security (ESDEGUE-CREES) as one of the keynote speakers on collaboration to combat transnational organized crime in Latin America on September 29, 2015 at their Transnational Organized Crime and Terrorism from Political and Judicial Perspectives seminar.

Over 160 military, police, and civilians from Colombia and 14 countries participated in the seminar sponsored by SOCOM/JSOU and CREES. Several WJPC alumni including Oscar Palma and Jesus Alberto Correa from Colombia and Augusto Alvarez from Peru were also guest speakers. Perry Center Director Mr. Mark Wilkins and Professor Realuyo had productive meetings with the CREES team led by VADM Ordonez and ESDEGUE led by MG Salazar to discuss potential event and research collaborations with the Perry Center.
