On September 29, the Perry Center coordinated a VTC with the University of Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. Professor Boris Saavedra presented on Hemispheric security to more than 200 participants. Prof. Saavedra identified and explored the main challenges and threats that currently exist in the Western Hemisphere, including bilateral tensions and the disruption of the governance of the State by the organized criminals. The event was broadcast to several locations within the University of Guadalajara and online to Perry Center alumni participants and other viewers. This video conference is part of an ongoing lecture series with the University of Guadalajara.
