On December 3, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies had the honor of hosting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Security Cooperation (DASW), Christopher Mamaux, along with his delegation. Principal Director Shereen Faraj, Analyst Pamela Curtin, Director Paul J. Angelo, and members of the Perry Center leadership welcomed DASW Mamaux for a discussion focused on future programming priorities, opportunities for deeper collaboration across the Department, and the continued strengthening of alumni engagement throughout the hemisphere.

DASW Mamaux’s visit underscores the Perry Center’s commitment to supporting the Department of War’s security cooperation mission and reinforces professional ties across the defense training and education community, especially as Americas equities gain prominence in defense policy formulation.
