On December 5th, Professor Boris Saavedra was a featured speaker at the Organization of American States’ sub-regional workshop “Industrial Control Systems and Critical Infrastructures in the Electric Sector” in Medellin, Colombia. The purpose of the workshop was to build awareness of the risks that the Colombian electricity sector and other countries face using different information and communication technologies. The event was attended by many cybersecurity, information technology and operations professionals who work in the Colombian electricity sector, as well as professionals responsible for the cybersecurity of Colombia’s critical infrastructure.
