On February 5, 2024, the Institute for National Strategic Studies at National Defense University (NDU/INSS) and the School of Multidimensional Security (ESEM) at the Institute of International Relations, University of São Paulo hosted a webinar on the relevance of the NDU publication Beyond Convergence: World Without Order in the current global context. Book authors, Mr. Michael Miklaucic (NDU/INSS), Mr. Douglas Farah (IBI Consultants), and Professor Celina Realuyo (William J. Perry Center) presented “Convergence and Consolidation in an Era of Great Power Competition,” “Emerging Threats and Changes in Transnational Organized Crime in the Hemisphere,” and “The Digitalization of Illicit Networks in the Americas” respectively.
