55 students from the Masters in Planning and National Management Strategy course at Paraguay’s Instituto de Altos Estudios Estratégicos (Institute for Advanced Strategic Studies – IAEE) visited the Perry Center. The group was led by Colonel Nelson Leiva and Ms. Alba Lidia Campora de Barros Barreto. They attended a briefing on the Center’s program of courses, outreach activities, and research, which was followed by two lectures and a vibrant discussion. Academic Dean Luis Bitencourt led a session on strategic planning, and Professor Guillermo Pacheco led a session on the Inter-American Defense System.
