On January 9, the Perry Center bid farewell to staff member, Patricia Kehoe, and honored her with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency’s World of Excellence Award for exceptional support to the Center and its mission.

Ms. Kehoe, a 2012 graduate of the Georgetown School of Foreign Service, initially began as an intern for the Center in the summer of 2011 before becoming assistant editor, a position she held for two years. During her time at the Center, she also simultaneously fulfilled the roles of public affairs officer and web editor. Ms. Kehoe demonstrated superior leadership and organizational skills, and carried out duties typically assigned to a person with much more seniority. Her extraordinary writing, technical abilities, and attention to detail facilitated the production of numerous web – and print-based articles, reports, and strategic communications in support of the Center’s academic and outreach missions.

Although we are sad to see her leave, we wish Ms. Kehoe all the best in her future endeavors.
