On November 16, 2022, Dr. Boris Saavedra and Professor Celina Realuyo participated in the Follow-up Meeting of the Advanced Seminar on Regional Security Mexico-United States of America at the Universidad de las Americas Puebla (UDLAP), Mexico with more than 50 participants.

Professor Realuyo spoke about “The Evolution of Terrorism and Organized Crime in North America and its Repercussions on the Mexico-United States Bilateral Relationship”, and Dr. Boris Saavedra spoke about “Cybersecurity and Cyberdefense: Challenges in North America.” This seminar, sponsored by the Embassy of the United States and UDLAP, is part of the academic collaboration between the Perry Center and the University of the Americas Puebla. It represented our first post-pandemic in-person activity in Puebla, Mexico within the framework of the bicentennial of diplomatic relations between Mexico and the United States.
