Kara O'Ryan assumed the responsibilities of the Outreach and Alumni office in 2008 and is dedicated to the development and strengthening of institutional and alumni relationships at the Perry Center. After receiving her Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, she taught for several years before moving to Washington, DC, where she began a varied career as a Spanish translator. She joined the Perry Center in 1999 and has had the privilege of working directly with the security and defense community for over 20 years.
