On May 3, 2021, Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo spoke at the Council on Foreign Relations Transition 2021 Series: “The US Approach to Latin America and the Caribbean” alongside Dr. Paul J. Angelo, Fellow for Latin America Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations and Dr. Mauricio Mesquita Moreira, Principal Economic Advisor, Integration and Trade Sector, at the Inter-American Development Bank. They discussed the health, economic, security and political challenges the region faces in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for increased international cooperation to promote all aspects of recovery in Latin America and the Caribbean.
