Has the new nuclear revolution arrived in Latin America?

The energy sector has reevaluated the opportunities offered by nuclear energy, and although its use in Latin America has historically been limited, recent technological innovations promise to make this energy source more accessible to developing countries. With around 5% of the world’s uranium resources and cheap labor, the region is becoming attractive to the nuclear sector. This raises questions about how the new nuclear revolution may affect Latin America, what opportunities and challenges it presents, and what its greatest risks are.
