On November 6, 2025, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies and the Inter-American Defense College (IADC) hosted a delegation of 25 personnel from the Argentinian Joint War College of the Armed Forces, led by Rear Admiral Eduardo Ignacio Llambí, Director of the College. Perry Center Professors Dr. Arturo Sotomayor and Eric Driggs – along with IADC Director Major General Richard Heitkamp, Vice-Director Rear Admiral Paulo Roberto Blanco, and Captain Luis Alejo Bonanni – welcomed the group.

The visit included an organizational briefing delivered by Dr. Sotomayor, followed by a tour of Fort McNair and the National Defense University. The delegation also engaged in discussions on institutional cooperation and professional military education.

This engagement built on the foundation of collaboration between the Perry Center, the IADC, and the Argentinian Joint War College, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthening defense education and regional cooperation.
